The four special elective tracks are as follows:

You will learn the tools needed to understand the alignment and benefits of the primary series postures, safe hands-on-adjustments, the difference between Led and Mysore style classes and how to be an effective yoga teacher in both settings. Pre/PostNatal Yoga Track with Dorothy Guy, RYT 500, Certified Pre/Post Natal Yoga Instructor, E-RYT 200 The Pre/Postnatal Track includes research data on the effects of exercise during pregnancy, prenatal anatomy, contraindications and principles of safe practice in each trimester of pregnancy, constructing and sequencing a prenatal class, modifying postures, and how to integrate pregnant students into a regular yoga class. Restorative Yoga Track with Nita Andrieu, RYT 500, Certified Relax & Renew Instructor, E-RYT 200 Learn the dynamic use of props and specialized teaching techniques to effectively create a state of deep relaxation for students in both private and group classes. This experiential training will deepen your understanding of the activities of the subtle energy body, nervous system and mind during a restorative practice. Therapeutic Yoga Track with Caren Strait, RYT 500, LifeForce Practitioner, E-RYT 200 Take your training a step further and reach out to clients who need the help of an "above average" instructor. Learn the essentials of setting up a professional and organized "private practice."
