Kathleen Grace Santor, M.Ed., Ed.S., E-RYT 500

Kathleen is the director of the Stress Management Center of Nevada where she teaches yoga classes and trains 200 and 500 hour level yoga teachers. Her tireless dedication to the teacher training program has created a supportive environment for trainees to learn and grow on every level. Kathleen designs her yoga classes with the intention to educate her students, teaching them techniques they can take home, rather than simply leading them in practice. Kathleen’s own longtime practice of yoga shines through as she skillfully and compassionately guides her students and teacher trainees to reveal their own light within.

Nita Andrieu, RYT 500

A Yoga Alliance RYT 500, Certified Relax and Renew® Instructor, and Certified Children's Yoga Instructor, Nita is comfortable teaching first time as well as advanced students. Her classes are grounded in the fundamentals of Iyengar-style yoga combined with Vinyasa flow. Influenced by her studies with Judith Lasater, Seane Corn, Rod Stryker and Kathleen Grace Santor, she hopes to impart to all of her students the many wonderful things yoga can offer on and off the mat. A compassionate teacher known for creating an environment of community, fun and celebration where students are encouraged to honor where they are in their bodies and explore their mind, body and spirit.

Dorothy Guy, RYT 200

Dorothy specializes in working with Beginners, Yoga Dance, Hot Vinyasa Flow, Pre/Post Natal and Mom & Baby Yoga. She has completed Pre/Post Natal Certification with high honors. Dorothy is also studying toward the advanced 500 hour RYT level at SMCN. She has been a Middle Eastern dancer for the past 11 years and a yoga practioner for the past 15 years. "Yoga Raqs," her unique personal creation, combines the postures of yoga with the beauty of Middle Eastern Dance.

Allyson Manta, RYT 200

Allyson was introduced to yoga in her early 20's by reading the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads, but it wasn't until many years later (after traveling around the world as a choreographer and dance trainer for Cirque du Soleil) that she found herself in Las Vegas and looking for yoga seriously. Discovering Kundalini Yoga at UNLV with Yogi Ji started her path to yoga study and finding Kathleen at the Stress Management Center opened the door to teaching. She earned her 200 hour certification in 2005 and has been teaching seriously since then. Anatomy, vinyasa and breathing techniques are her favorite aspects of teaching yoga and her personal daily practice makes her smile on the inside day after day. She is continuing her studies with Kathleen and is currently enrolled in the 500 hour certification program.

Caren Strait, RYT 500

Caren enjoys teaching all levels of Hatha Yoga; her style is a unique mix of the Kripalu and Iyengar styles. Caren specializes in teaching those who have physical challenges in group and private settings. She has led instructor training and continuing education workshops for group fitness instructors, personal trainers, and now yoga teachers. She loves yoga, and feels it is constantly teaching her to be a better person and a more compassionate teacher.  Caren is a Registered Yoga Teacher (500), Certified Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Reiki Practitioner, and LifeForce® Practitioner. Caren has been in the fitness industry since 1987, and has taught yoga since 2003. Her 200 hour training was through Yoga for Real People in Dayton Ohio, where she also trained as a Sound Body Yoga Therapist. Caren completed her 500 hour teacher’s training at SMCN in Las Vegas. She took special training in LifeForce® Yoga to Manage Your Mood with Master Teacher Amy Weintraub.

Ryan Larsen, RYT 200

Ryan took his first yoga class while studying at a university in Central America 11 years ago. Yoga has been threaded through his life and travels ever since, culminating in deepening his yoga practice through certification at SMCN. His students find his presence very calming and encouraging. While he uses asana practice in teaching for strength-building, cardiovascular exercise, and improving balance, he also employs affirmations, breathing exercises, and meditation. He especially likes to encourage students to bridge the gap between yoga on the mat and yoga throughout the day—in the car, at work, and at home.
