CYT, RYT 500 is the
director of the
Stress Management Center of Nevada where she teaches yoga classes and trains
200 and 500 hour level yoga teachers. Kathleen integrates her knowledge and experience
as a counselor, specialist in stress management and yoga teacher to create a
well rounded teacher training program that helps trainees learn to approach their
students with both sensitivity and skill.
Rosemary Rehfeldt, RYT 200 is a yoga instructor for
beginning and intermediate students. Rosemary specializes in gentle, restorative,
and prenatal yoga, and has developed workshops that teach specific techniques
for yoga practice in each of these areas. Rosemary has been teaching yoga
since 2001 and is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level.
Amy Rockwell, B.S., RYT 500 is a Certified Yoga Teacher and is registered
with Yoga Alliance. Amy likes to create a comfortable learning environment
for those that are new to yoga. She enjoys sharing the time-tested science
of yoga and its many health benefits, particularly replacing mental and
physical tension, fatigue and stress with calmness and vitality.
Sherry Russell, E-RYT 500 has been teaching yoga, meditation
and Ayurveda since1984 - initially for the University of Nevada
Las Vegas and then through her own business. At the Stress Management Center
of Nevada, Sherry teaches yoga classes and instructs yoga teacher trainees
for the 200 and 500 hour level courses in meditation and Ayurveda.
Sharon York, RYT 500 trained at the Himalayan Institute
in Honesdale, PA and at Stress Management Center of Nevada. In addition,
she has completed training with Judith Lasater, Ph.D., P.T. and is certified
by her as a Restorative Trainer. Sharon specializes in yoga for health and
wellness, especially targeting the inactive, injured or senior student.
Classes emphasize breathing techniques and increasing mobility for overall
health benefits, the management of pain and arthritic conditions in a safe
learning environment.
